The classroom stations are generally left running all day with multiple people signing in and out.  At times, the machine will have an error during this process and lock you out of the system.  When this happens, shut the machine all the way down and then turn it back on.  This should correct any errors.

Generally, rebooting a machine will only take a few minutes.  This is usually worth the time as it will correct many issues with the classroom PCs.
