Occasionally, something will go wrong with a student’s assignment submission. In this case, the easiest thing to do is to clear the assignment attempt and let the student resubmit.

To allow a student to resubmit his or her assignment, go to Grade Center -> Full Grade Center.

Locate the cell for the student and assignment that you’d like to clear.  There, hover your mouse over the cell, click the dropdown and choose View Grade Details.

On the screen that appears, you’ll see a record of the assignment submission.  Press Clear Attempt to clear it.  

Once you do, the entire attempt and any feedback that you’ve given will be cleared, and the student will be able to resubmit.
