Can you install SPSS?
You must have administrator access to your machine to install SPSS. If you do not have administrator access, reach out to us via the Helpdesk for assistance. Additionally, SPSS is only available for 64-bit Windows. These instructions only cover installing SPSS on your home computer. To install it on a CNU owned computer, you can use the self service portal to make a request.
Determining on Windows 7
To determine whether your Windows 7 version is 32 or 64 bit, click on the start menu, right-click on Computer, and choose Properties.

Getting SPSS
To download SPSS, click this download Follow the link here. If you’re already signed in to CNU Connect, you’ll be taken directly to the download link. If not, you’ll see the Google sign-in page. Sign in with your CNU e-mail and password.

Either way, you’ll then see the download linklist of downloadable files. Click Select the Windows file and click on the Download button to download the file.

Navigate to where you downloaded the file and click SPSS_Statistics_25_win64.exe. If you aren’t already logged in as an administrator, you’ll be prompted to enter an administrator’s credentials. If you do not have administrator credentials, you will not be able to continue the installation after this point; please contact the Helpdesk self-service portal for assistance.
After administrator credentials have been entered and recognized, the installer will start. Click Next.
