What is eduroam
Eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam is available at thousands of institutions worldwide, see link for a full list of eduroam participants https://eduroam.org/where/?location=us.
Christopher Newport is proud to offer eduroam network access across the entire campus for Students, Faculty, Staff, and Visitors!
Eduroam access for CNU Students, Faculty, and Staff.
Connecting to the eduroam wireless network will provide the same access to campus network resources and the internet as the WiFi-CNU wireless network. Students connecting to eduroam will continue to be required to install OnGuard on their Windows or MAC laptops in the same way they were required to when connecting to WiFi-CNU. Please follow the steps below when connecting to the eduroam wireless network, once you have successfully connected to eduroam on campus you may connect to the eduroam wireless network at any participating eduroam campus automatically.
We encourage everyone to start using eduroam while on campus, so your connection is set-up and ready to go when you travel to another institution.
