Description

While video-conferencing used to require expensive equipment and expert setup, it now is available on virtually any internet-connected device.  This allows faculty, staff and students to hold face-to-face office hours from home, bring in guest speakers, and connect with colleagues around the world.  Participants will examine how Christopher Newport University's official video-conferencing tools, Blackboard Collaborate and Google Meet can be used to make video calls and communicate with anyone from a distance.  This session will also include the new expanded features of Google Meet.
